Occupational therapists and physiotherapists are provided to state schools by the Education Department as an advisory service to support students with disability to achieve the best outcomes from their education. They help students to access and participate in learning and school activities. They assist schools to make adjustments to enable students to engage in learning, achieve and belong in the school.
After a signed parent permission is completed, our Support Teachers and Class Teachers complete a request for service form which is submitted to the Department of Education.
