Welcome to Strathpine West State School

Strathpine West State School was established in 1981 and is located in Garbala Drive, Strathpine. Our school is surrounded by residential development and bushland. Strathpine West State School attracts students from Strathpine, Brendale, Bray Park, Cashmere and Warner and services families who represent the broad spectrum of Australian socioeconomic circumstances.
A diversity of cultures enriches the school community. We have students from overseas, including Zimbabwe, South Africa, England, China, Pacific Islands and New Zealand. Our enthusiastic, caring teachers and support staff are committed to providing quality teaching and learning within a broad and engaging curriculum.
Our aim is that when our students leave our school at the end of their primary education, they will be innovative thinkers, have positive work attitudes and be personally responsible and socially just by showing respect, tolerance and empathy to others. We invite you and your family to become part of our Strathpine West community.
