Strathpine West State School P&C Association is the approved provider of the non for profit outside school hours service - Club SWOSH.
It was officially opened on 8 February 2006. There were 16 children enrolled in the program, with two staff members and they operated from a classroom within the school grounds.
Club SWOSH provides Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care for school aged children in the SWOSH rooms on school campus.
SWOSH runs in accordance with the National Quality Framework and the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The Educators practice is guided by the school age framework, My Time, Our Place to ensure quality outcomes for all children.
The Educators provide a high-quality service based on trusting reciprocal relationships with all children and families. We offer a fun and engaging program drawn from the children's ideas, strengths, and curiosities. The children can freely access the opportunity to enjoy outdoor physical play, leisure and relaxation, craft, cooking, nature play, construction and much more.
Parent are required to complete a Club SWOSH enrolment pack upon enrolment and each year to update their details and booking requirements.
