Strathpine West State School's chaplain is Troy Juides. He is employed by Scripture Union Queensland to work at our school for two days a week (Monday and Tuesday).
As the chaplain, Troy can provide social, emotional and spiritual support which is available to the whole school community.
Troy will do this through one to one conversations, running programs and being a positive role model in the school environment. He will contribute to the overall wellbeing strategies and educational goals of Strathpine West State School. Part of Troy's role is to support family's needs by sourcing services and organisations in the local community.
Some of Troy's aims are to provide support and programs that will help students to develop healthy and respectful friendships, manage feelings and build resilience.
If you wish to speak to Troy, please contact the school office on 34806111 to arrange an appointment.
