Strathpine West State School's chaplain is Ryan Macnaught. He is employed by Scripture Union Queensland to work at our school for three days a week.
As the chaplain, Ryan will provide social, emotional and spiritual support which is available to the whole school community.
Ryan will do this through one to one conversations, running programs and being a positive role model in the school environment. He will contribute to the overall wellbeing strategies and educational goals of Strathpine West State School. Part of Ryan's role is to support family's needs by sourcing services and organisations in the local community.
Some of Ryan's aims are to provide support and programs that will help students to develop healthy and respectful friendships, manage feelings and build resilience.
